DLAH-32D3

DLAH-32D3 surge protector is designed to protect, against surge voltages due to lightning, terminals equipment connected to industrial buses, telecom lines or datalines.

These Signal Surge Protector must be installed on symmetrical DIN rail and are available for most of the transmission lines: line voltage 32V, bitrate up to 10 Mbit/s. These products are 1-pair surge protectors with removable module for easy maintenance.

Installation

  • DLAH-32D3 surge protectors are connected in serial on the network.
  • The protected equipment must be nearby (protector/equipment distance less than 10 m long). If this rule cannot be followed, «secondary» protection must be installed near the equipment (coordinated surge protection).
  • The total length connection wires to network must be lower than 0.5 m in order not to increase the protection level (Up) provided by the SPD.
  • Wiring is made by screw connections.
  • The protection wire coming from the SPD must be connected to the bonding bar of the electrical panel.
  • Local earthing resistance must be in compliance with the electrical rules.
