We are pleased to announce updates to the product codes from the manufacturer CITEL as part of the latest revisions to the product catalog.

1. Discontinuation Notice for MJ8 Series

CITEL has decided to discontinue several products in the MJ8 Series (PDN ID: 2317004, Issued Date: 26.04.2023). The details are as follows:

• Discontinued Products: MJ8-CAT6S, MJ8-CAT5E, MJ8-12V, MJ8-2T1, MJ8-2RN, CRMJ8-POE-B-C6
• Replacement Products: MJ8-C6A, CRMJ8-POE-C6A
• Last Order Date: 31.10.2023
• Last Shipment Date: 31.12.2023

The new products have been upgraded to support maximum transmission speeds for 10Gigabit Ethernet and Category 6A cabling, with backward compatibility for older Ethernet standards.

2. Discontinuation Notice for POE Series

CITEL continues to update and improve the POE Series products (PDN ID: 2440005, Issued Date: 30.09.2024). The following product codes are discontinued:

• Discontinued Products: MJ8-POE-B, CMJ8-POE-B-C5, CGMJ8-POE-B-C5
• Replacement Products: MJ8-POE-A, CWMJ8-POE-C6A
• Last Order Date: 31.12.2024
• Last Shipment Date: 31.01.2025

The replacement products are designed to support 10Gbps data transmission over Cat-6A cabling, ensuring backward compatibility with older transmission standards. These products provide enhanced protection against transient overvoltage risks, safeguarding your system investments.
