AT Storm Dectectors
The ATSTORM® is an expert local early warning system for risk prevention against lightning storms. The ATSTORM® system monitors both the electrostatic field and the electromagnetic field – able to detect both the electrical storms that approach the area to be protected, as well as those that are forming above it.
Earthing solutions
A well-designed earthing system is the basis for any electrical installation in order to ensure the danger associated with fault currents is avoided, protecting both equipment and individuals. In a lightning protection system, a low earth resistance is essential as dispersion of the lightning current takes place within it. Each down conductor must have a ground connection, consisting of conductive elements in contact with the ground capable of dispersing the lightning current.
Exothermic Welding
Exothermic welding is the result of a process that achieves the molecular union of two or more metallic conductors through a chemical reaction. This molecular bond improves the mechanical, electrical and corrosion-related properties with respect to any mechanical connection. The innovative tablet format of Apliweld® Secure+ and the electronic ignition offers much more efficient results, saving costs and providing an extra in security.

 

Permanent Overvoltagles
Permanent overvoltages are increases in potential of over 10% of the nominal value of the power supply, which remain for several cycles or even permanently. They are a result of phase decompensation, which is usually caused by the neutral conductor breaking, its faulty connection or faults in transformer centres.
